#ChooseTrainBe – Alignment

We seek alignment with our clients, with our team and with our community. Alignment helps reduce conflict and support resolution. As a solution oriented firm we are steadfast in our desire to help those in our communities find commonalities and alignment even in the smallest of spaces. This week of the #ChooseTrainBe series focuses on cultivating alignment within our own communities.

How Smart Law ensures alignment within our team:
Authentic alignment begins with effective and consistent communication. Our team makes it a point to communicate with each other on a daily basis; communication is made so that no client or firm need goes unaddressed. We also maintain alignment through accountability and a shared set of interests, goals and visions. Our firm was founded with child advocacy and child centered practices at the forefront of our work. Members of our team share this identity and sentiment, making it their life work to create a better future and society for youth, today, tomorrow and beyond.

How Smart Law cultivates alignment with our clients:
Cultivating alignment with clients at #MySmartLaw is crucial for building trust, fostering a positive working relationship and achieving the best outcomes. We use a client-centric and collaborative approach to help better understand our clients needs and goals through the legal process (and beyond) while also providing the space and time for clients to be a part of the process. When our clients feel empowered, they are likely to feel a greater sense of satisfaction at the end of their legal matter. We understand that building alignment is an ongoing process and we work with transparency and the values of being purposeful, passionate and principled to foster true alignment with our clients.

How you can nurture alignment with others in your life:
Whether it is with a co-parent, extended family member, new neighbor, peer, co-worker, child, your attorney, a judge or acquaintance, developing alignment can help you bring clarity, peace and progress into your life. To start, become an active and authentic listener; understand the perspectives and experiences of the people around you. Once you have developed an understanding of who they are, you can more easily form connection and identify present similarities. Once a foundation of community or common purpose has been shared- reaching shared goals, visions or interests is more reasonable. We encourage you to start small, dream big and go forward sincerely.
